My Education and Licensure
I received my Masters of Science in 2013 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Marriage and Family Therapy (a COAMFTE accredited program). This program is 2.5 years long including courses and student internship. I also received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from UNLV in 2010.
I am a Registered Intern with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. This means that I have 5 years to achieve 2,000 hours of client sessions. With the "intern" status, I can still see clients, I just attend meetings with a licensed supervisor in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am happy to answer any questions you have.
Oregon Supervisor: Margaret Eichler, Ph.D., LPC.
In this profession, continuing education is very important. I have attended various conferences and workshops and will continue to for the rest of my career. If you want to know what conferences or trainings I have attended, just let me know! I'm happy to answer these questions.
