I'm Gianna. Hello! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and have been in Portland since the beginning of 2015 (although I planned that move for a few years). I am here with my husband (together since 2006) and our dog Guinness, an awesome shelter dog (maybe a Corgi Keeshond mix?) who knows how adorable he is. We are a very eco-friendly family, in both personal and work life.

I am also an Adjunct Professor at both Portland State University in the graduate and undergraduate programs, and at the University of Portland.

I am also the Past President (President 2018-2019), of the Oregon Counseling Association (ORCA) a branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I am now the ACA Western Region Chair Elect, and the Lead Counselor for Clear Transitions PDX, a low income workshop for women going through divorce.

I enjoy trying new places to eat, finding live music lounges (jazz is a favorite), baking, watercoloring, reading (my favorite is Harry Potter), and spending time at the Oregon coast. I think self care is important for my clients as well as for myself, so I very much enjoy time with family, friends, and sometimes just by myself... even if it is watching Netflix (Leslie Knope from "Parks and Recreation" is my soul sister).
