I'm Gianna. Hello! I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and have been in Portland since the beginning of 2015 (although I planned that move for a few years). I am here with my husband (together since 2006) and our dog Guinness, an awesome shelter dog who knows how adorable he is. We are a very eco-friendly family, in both personal and work life.

I am also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Portland, having taught "Interventions with Children and Youth" and "Human Sexuality", as well as an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University teaching "Families and Society" in their School of Social Work. I am also the President Elect for the Oregon Counseling Association, and lead counselor with Clear Transitions PDX.

I enjoy trying new places to eat, finding live music lounges (jazz is a favorite), fashion blogging, reading (even Harry Potter yet again, Agatha Christie) and spending time outdoors, especially at the Oregon coast. I think self care is important for my clients as well as for myself, so I very much enjoy time with family, friends, and sometimes just by myself... even if it is watching Netflix (Leslie Knope from "Parks and Recreation" is my spirit animal).
